Its cool to see the last year 2-seater AMX is now worth over $70,000 in #1 condition. A BIG BAD GREEN 70 AMX 390 sold for $70,000 in wisconsin. I purchased a very clean red 70 390 AMX with red leather for $65,000. If you want the best in,color,options,no rust,paperwork,everything original, and restored to perfection it will cost you serious money. Not bad for a car that was ignored for over 30 years.

AMC was the last indy to go. This is what unions do to us they kill off great companies.

American Motors, the pride of Kenosha, Wisconsin (about 25 miles from my home). Why don't we see more of these nice AMC's in magazines, etc? I'm not overly loyal to one brand of muscle car (kinda partial to Road Runners & Chevelles), I love 'em all (especially with a 4-speed!!!)

This year AMX ran 24 hrs ave mph 150. Craig Breedlove did it in Texas 1968.
