That car is amazing man, love. When it fired up i almost died. Real American Muscle, these were real cars
@aenima187 with a Z\28 that might just be fun. They did do pretty good at road courses all over North America back in the day.
No factory tach ?? Is this a clone ?
Jeff you are a specialist Mr.
im looking for the one with the squared lights in the front
i really want one
me and my dad are restoring a 1985 camaro
The L-78 is one of the most all out high performance engines that ever rolled off the line from Chevy. It's right there with the 375 horse 327 vette, DZ-302, L-88, 701/2 LT-1, LS-6 as far as having the good stuff. The L-78's were seriously bad. They came from the factory, four bolt mains, forged steel crank, 11.5 to 1 pistons, big valve square port heads, , alum intake, and a huge dual line Holley. Rare versions had alum heads. The sound with headers uncorked is awe inspiring.
What is the entire exhaust setup? What camshaft, and what are the specs on the cam? Thank you very much...
One thing missing, the SS steering wheel. It has a standard coupe wheel.
@aenima187 try driving this car in Polish roads :D this is hardcore :) greetings from Poland :)
@aenima187
Don't worry, I could have fun with it in Spanish roads...
EU? = European Union?
Try driving a camaro in European roads, and have fun.
These cars were made in America and thats really where they should stay. A lot of horsepower - all going to the rear through windy roads...kinda speaks for itself.
Car is magnificent. I don't know if I could drive a car so beautiful with the other retards on the road. I'd be so paranoid of someone rear ending me. I would almost have to buy two of these cars just to be happy and on the safe side.
I wish I could afford it right now and take it to EU...
no wonder it was so loud. it has a 454, just 396 labels. practically a COPO. 'Take my left nut for this , the most beautiful camaro out there!!!
im gonna buy it
Sexiest car ever
Nice car man.. ima get one of those soon man for sure!!!
Oh absolutely. But sadly you know how these cars were back in the day, no one ever imagined they would be worth this much so they bought and sold them! He did sell the pace car a while back, but he has an extremely nice 69 RS 350. Dover white with a red interior and power windows! Its a great car, also the first camaro I ever drove.
That car in stock condition is worth a very nice piece of change! :)
Well yes thats true, a friend of mine had one of those, the REAL kind with the 396 350 hp engine in it, not the 350
Actually you could. But only on the 1969 Indy Pace Car Camaro. But these guys should have painted the correct hockey stick strip on this!
@d1mastersbilt You are absolutely correct!
You're the same age as my dad! But my profile picture on here is one of his old Z/28s. Take a look
I was born 6/6/52,,,,and I'm 57 but that okay..........life was very different back when I was 16/17.......just ask your Dad. I'm sure I could testify to that partner.........have your Dad bring out the pictures from back than........!!! |
