Nice looking Camaro, BUT... There was no factory document offering a Z28 "appearance pkg" on the 1970 SS model; that included Z28 striping, rims, spoilers, etc. This is virtually what we have here. The Z28 was its own entity. There was no mistaking it for any other model Camaro. I don't understand how so many resto-SS's have gottten away pulling this off?
Even though I am twenty years old I say this is one nice camaro and how they are suppose to look.
NO AIR FOR Z28 rev to high------- Flemings should take a class on the Camaro history.
@TMoorej norwood plant had a strike so if u have a car built at norwood its a 70 1/2 coz of the strike that year
@koolratrods no 2nd gen(atleast) camaro had stripes on the roof
does the fatass come with it?
why no stripes on the roof? and the pass back seat had that fabric gather? also i have seen one that had oval windows on the side? anybody know about those?
@BIG468RAT I thank the author for removing my comment. All I said is what it is. Obviously you don't know much about what you are selling. It was either a late production start or a strike that led to the late model release. No matter what, there never was a 70 1/2 year Camaro. carsbyjeff, you should tell it like it is.
I wish people would get over the 70 1/2 monicar. There was NO 70 1/2 Camaro. They were still 1970, just the strike held back production and they came out mid-year. That is it. NO 70 1/2 cars.
He sounds like Obama but great video!!
Wow... 70 1/2 RS/SS, split front bumper and those rear tail lights ... that is one sweet looking camaro. Sick as hell.
Good Eye, you are right about the tail pipes and we did...
Jeff
Beautiful car.. absoloutely Gorgeous,, i would shorten the Tail pipes a little bit, but who am i to say that, ill never own this SWEET marro
this car is beautiful
Looks just like my 70 1/2 RS/SS but mines yellow with a black vinyl top.
split bumpers , parking lens next to hedligths , different grill , and some other options i cant recall rigth now , but thats it
wow
maybe someone could help me out, I was wondering what exactly came with a RS package on the 2nd gens. Like I know the 1st gens had hideaway lights, but were there any differences in appearance with the early 2nd gens?
how about meeting us in the middle then, one less wart on the ass of society
so what mental institution did YOU break out of, I see your profile says you're 41, maybe you got that backwards by mistake and it should be 14, it's a mistake anyone could make, you're overruled there, dude, were not breast-fed enough, I sure am glad you're in Canada we have enough of you dumbasses down here as it is
speaking of spell-checking people, the word their should be they're as in they are, dude
thanks man, because this argument is over
congratulations, that was the exact opinion that I had of you, all you have to do to see me is watch my mustang video and you can see my '68 SS Camaro in the carport, I appologise for saying anything harsh to you, because you do have a right to your own opinion, I wish I was young again and could keep some of the old hotrods I use to have, at least I'm man enough to say I'm sorry
only thing you've proved is that you have read a book, BIG DEAL! so I and the rest of the millions of Camaro owners can call them what we want. Go read another book and mess up someone else's day, you act like a delinqent
I've been in a Camaro club for 25 years, 70 Camaros have always been known as 701/2, I have a parts book for mine, screw general motors, they wouldn't recognise that water is wet |
