I know this is a noobish question, but are any 2003 M5's (e39) offered with the same seats and steering wheel as this 540i? I haven't sat in either, but the seats and steering wheel on this 540i just seem better to the eye :S. Anyway, thanks a lot for the MANY reviews you have posted on YouTube Chris. I still have a bit to go to obtain my driving licese (age wise), and all your videos have been of great help pointing me in the right direction, with great variety too! Take care!

Nice car..at our dealership we had trouble selling those, peop0le see it as an older car because of the e39 bodystyle, so i end up bying more e46..cheaper and better looking :D, also if anyone intrested we have a 2004 BMW m3 with salvage hisotry 55K miles asking price is $15K.

the 540i with the face lift looks more like an m5 they even come with the same fog lights

the one thats high on price is the e34, not e39 540i M version wich is basicly an m5 with a torquier engine

Well it's a BMW which means a damn nice car.

The 540i has 282hp. and 310 ft lbs of torque. The M sport package come with more than just M logos . It had torque converters (which make a huge differnce) , as well as sport suspension. But I do agree the M5 is the LAW.

i own one as well.... yet to take it to 6 speed you sure?? then again i never go over 100
