You see, if they actually sang the right pitches, this would make sense. the second guy said Re but he sang Mi. The third guy was supposed to say Mi (but instead said his name-hence the joke) but the pitch he sang was Sol (a very flat sol, but sol), making the three pitches a triad. If they sang it right, this joke would be perfect.

@berkyberk67 It's not necessarily a song. Do Re MI Fa Sol La Si Do is the most commonly thaught scale in music. This is quoted in quite a lot of songs as a catchy gimmick.

@mfs976 no its liek i said ray said "RE" which sounds like his name and egon said his own name cause next in the scale is "me" so obviously cause ray's matched up egon was trying to be cheeky and because he used it in the sense of referring to himself.
