you dont think the other trucks werent luxury like your ford. that ram had wood trim, leather upholstery on the dash (first in any truck), all the chrome in the world, dvd player, very expensive ram box, nav, dual zone automatic temp control, everything. and yet it still manages to work like a work truck. why cant ford do that? plus that isnt the only reason the ford lost, its got the weakest engine by 70hp+

the speed test isnt even fair with the ford...my dad has this truck and he put a super-chip in it. (it reprograms the computer) which takes away SOME governers. it turned it into a completely different truck!!!! it spins the tires all over the place on a hot dry day here in Florida!!!and dodge doesn't even use governers. its self explanatory.

Fair comparison test for the moment. The Dodge ram has the brilliant design of a hemispherical engine. The Chevy has its large 6.2 at just over 400hp. The Tundra can go screw itself because no japenese turck can hold up to All American Muscle. The Ford f150 has the smallest and an out dated engine. 1 year behind, however the 6.2 boss will shoot the F150 into 1st. The supercharged version will have just over 500hp and an optional 7.0 available in 2012 will have close to 700hp. I'm not concerned.

The Ford might have been a second behind all the other trucks to 60 mph but it's a TRUCK. Who needs to get to 60 mph faster than 8.4 seconds?? The average passenger car could barely beat 10 seconds 15 years ago. Not arguing with the results - just making a comment.
