@SniperShea , well im not a "real gunsmith", but i have machined finished my own barrels, slug my own bores, hand lapped a reciever, knurled swivel slings, mounted many scopes and milled a 70mm bp cannon out of seamless steam pipe amongst other things. Ive just retored an anti tank rifle. Its not plastic. How Would you headspace a .55 bolt actioned ATR? . No hard feelings merry xmas!

Actually dude I am a real gunsmith. I like airsoft because it teaches SIMILAR technique on reloading. and I can shoot it on a 1/2 acre and not get the cops called. And I don't drool over airsoft. I drool over Dragon Skin, FN, Para, Springfield, and such. And I was talking about similarities between REAL steel weapons. So nice try but no.

an HK 416 is a pretty much an external copy of the Armalite design. The 416 is just a gas piston like an AK. H&K copied the externals and modified the internals to make it more reliable.

The Armalite AR10 or Stoner SR25 are chambered in 7.62 NATO. While we all know the AR15/M16 are chambered in 5.56 NATO. Thats the only difference. Granted many parts are actually different due to the caliber change. But they are all direct impingement rotating locking bolt gas operated semi automatic rifle.
