where is this place at
HI #UN#, We'd love to re-post one of your vids. Let us know which one and we'll post & circulate it right away.
Harv.
I'm living in France, this is incredible junk car's!!
If I had alot of money save up I would love to buy a classic car and restore it and take really good care of it.
Awesome Video! I wish there was a place like that here in Arkansas. I would love to have a '59 Chevy to restore. I like Ramblers also...I always admired AMC cars...I have a '71 Javelin. 5*'s.
@ kirbybc12: I live in East africa and, even though we had plenty of these cars on our roads in the 50's, 60's and a lil onwards, they simply seem to have vanished off the face of the region. junkyars are full of late 70's European and japanese stuff......wish I could get my hands on and old American model though....finding one where I am is equivalent to hunting for platinum in a bog.
@ravisaleh
I did see pics of a graveyard full of trucks and stuff from a civil war. Should be easy to find.
its also some peoples passion to restore and build a car like these, when i move to the states im planning on restoring 1.
Now, only if we had junkyards full of cars like these in Africa. Bummer.
@SteelCity1981
no... if you restore a old car like that you can easliy get 30+ grand from selling it, 15,000 profit.
@KarstonLikesMustangs not if you put 15 grand into it, you will be breaking even. lol
@SteelCity1981
then you can resell it and make 15 grand...
@1964corvan the cars you mentioned liek the rambler complete, sounds like you can drive it off the lot. Those cars are restorable yes but with a high cost preimum. Yeah i guess if you were weathly it wouldn't be a problem throwing 15 20 grand into a car or more, then again weathly people wouldn't waste their time they would just buy a totally restored version at a classic car auction like barret jackson
uhhhhh no i wasn't were does it say ''come on down and drive'em home today!''
@1964corvan The way you were acting it was as if you could just basicly drive them off the lot and throw a couple of parts in them, that's the point I was making.
That why most people in this hobby do their own work, if you love the car it's all worth it.
your not getting the point were not try to drive these tomorrow all these need restoration people restore cars all the time! and when your on a budget cheaper is better theres a a big difference between buying a complete rust free car for a couple hundred vs buying the same thing for 4 times more and still have to fix rust and find parts! your just not getting the concept at all i mean its only the greatest passion in the world as far as how many people do it and the impact it has on the economy
@1964corvan yeah no kidding, buit still it's not just easily priced as if you are gettign a steal on these cars seeing the amount of work that needs to be done and knowing it's going to cost you a ton of money in the long run restoring these cars in the long run
yeah thats called a restoration!
yeah he may sell you them cheap but you will end up spending 15 grand or more trying to repair most of them to decent condition.
first one is a 55 buick roadmaster
they need to bust the fucking vandals for breaking good windows and damaging those old beauties . some people got nothing better to do than to cause trouble. |
