my favorite sniper rifle as well :), not the best but still badass

it's not my most favorite sniper rifle, but it is one of the sexiest looking ones out there

jeez man it was a hypothetical question why's everyone got to get their titties in a twist about it?

Or you could just buy a MAK 90 and not butcher a beutifal gun

one of the best :)

no its not the AK Mech I agree but it was designed to be similer so it's a easy transistion for a Potential Marksman

@ImEuanAndIGotsSkeelz Well, its already an ironsight on it, just detach the optic :). Its not the AK mechanism, its 2 different manufacturers.

this thing rocks, but the price is $7000 reconsideration is needed

damn what a kick on that rifle

i bet its originaly made in russia automatic kalashnikovs and dragunovs this guns are sweet

what does he say??

haha, fail on my part

It has ironsights

Russian/China

i wonder if it would be possible to give this a set of iron sights and a bigger mag to be used as a battle rifle, im fairly sure its prettymuch the AK mechanism so i'd guess it would be quite sturdy, maybe add a butt pad to make the kick a bit less potent, anyone know if its been done?

Because it could be MADE IN CHINA

yes mabey not poorly but not as good as the russian ones

@JordansBeans, it's not poorly made. I have lots of guns made by the same manufacturer who made this SVD and they have good quality.

@stefankinasevych, There was a Tigr variant in .308 imported a long time ago.

сделано в китае вот и все

@VLAD1371994 but also made poorly in china

Why china \ russia ? This only russian sniper rifle ! From russian

"R" stands for rimmed. It's a ridge of metal at the base of the casing, which aids in extraction. As far as I'm aware, .22 and .17 varients are the only rimfire cartridges in use today. Good luck!

R in 7.62x54r stands for rimmed.

@zdarkstar20001 thanks for the info! : D PS: what does the "R" in 7.62x54mmR stand for? i thought it was "rimfire"
