freud was one of a few doctors in the late 1800's to openly discuss sex and his theories. although, some things are not wholly agreed with today, what with all the advances in medicine, he was an insightful man pushing against the limitations of his era. there was nothing fraudulent about freud... just the repressive victorian era that looms large into modernity - people like you, who have no idea about the legacy of the puritans
