I love this song! Jesudas sang this so beautifully even though he is not a native Hindi speaker. He is a great singer with numerous hits in almost all South Indian languages. To understand his verstatility check out "O Bhavre". It's a fast paced song from the late 90's.

Amol Palekar as a middle-class hero during 1970's was always realistic & felt as a next-door boy.

The most nostalgic piece of sound in my life ! This was among the only 3 or 4 music tapes we have had in mid 70's......As a kid I used to listen this song again and again in the lap of my late parents.....really tearful memories...

Why aren't they making such beautiful movies today to which every person can relate to? Why should all the movies be based on foreign location and EXTRA RICH ppl?
