Are you talking about the stock fps or the entire gearbox because, JG's have nice stock gearbox's. Not too sure what you are talking about. Btw this spring can be upgraded and the gearbox would be able to handle it proablay up to a M120 without having to worry or doing any other upgrades.

He also carries the CA SL8.

Some people just don't understand the concept of fps. Just becaue, a gun could fire in a low fps doesn't mean the quality is bad although that is a common misconception with noobs or people who think airsoft is about hurting people and not about qulaity or safety but, that guy was retarded.
