If it's half pacifc white sided dolphin, half false killer whale, then it's not really a hybrid. Pacific white sided dolphins are small toothed whales, technically. Still though. It's definitely odd. Never seen anything quite like it.

As for the people that are asking if Wolphins can reproduce, they can - Kekaimalu has had 3 children, one of which is still aive.

@chem6afreak I don't think that this Wolphin was the result of an experiment but rather an accident because they kept a Dolphin and a Whale (I know that Dolphins are Whales too, I just can't remember the species) together.

@EPR89 yah I heard somewhere that hybrids like these are genetically inferior, so nature makes them infertile...I dont kno... they should just stop experimenting for publicity it's kinda of messed up, but it's still intresting think about.

@chem6afreak That's where I'm heading at. If they can that would mean that the genetical relationship between these two species is extremely close. Somehow like in the case of the Liger. And if they could reproduce among each other that would be a pretty damn sensation. I personally doubt that for the same reason you do, but it would be interesting to know to what extend they can.
