I wish they would have brought the 3 door over to the US. The only 3 door hatchbacks we have are bland and unexciting like the Toyota Yaris. :( The Hyundai Accent looks better than the yaris, but its not very safe. Come on Mazda! Please?! lol

Well, it all depends on what you consider better. I feel 90's (sports) cars were the best, because they had decent emissions, they had more true driver feedback, of the feeling in your hands, to your feet, and such, and so on, to me. Nowadays technology is more advanced, using smaller engines for more power, fuel economy, and lower emissions, and higher safety. It depends on your opinion. Personally..If the Mazda2 were cheaper, and not right at the Mazda3's price...I'd own the mess out of one.

@espartan117bungie The fiesta(2008) uses Mazda's Mazda 2 (2007) platform. Mazda2 is 100% made in Japan and the engine of course is Japanese! Fiesta should be proud having elements from Mazda.

who is paying for this two year noisettes video ad to be featured on the current mazda 2 ad?? its history

=a ford fiesta

@gielfransen lol, lets just agree to disagree...

@80SCARFANS Well i guess you don't see the point, the 2011 Ford Mustang is something that you consider a "Copied" car. But it isn't, they just continued making the model sinds 1960. Same goes to the 121, 323, and 626. Also cars weren't better in the 80's, they were absolute crap and unreliable, maybe thats why they keep improving on cars. And sometimes they even take a classic model, like the Fiat 500. But not because it was "Better" , morely because it's name and fame.

@80SCARFANS Like what car would they copy? The 323? Look at the Furai, completely new, or perhaps the Taiki concept? Ryuga concept? Anyway no car brand ever copied a car from the 70's 80's or 90's. Maybe they continued making models, like the Ford Mustang, or Dodge Viper, Mazda 323/3 Mazda 626/6. The only cars that they copy are legends, from 50's and beyond. Like the New Beetle, Fiat 500, and Mini Cooper. You're just being ignorant. /discussion

@gielfransen lol,are you kidding? Nissan,Ford {which owns much of Mazda},Chevy and Toyota to name a few....im starting to question your Carness and intelligence... or you sure you wanna argue cars with me?

@gielfransen lol,why wouldnt mazda? you never know,in 2 years that could change...

@80SCARFANS Sure. Like how many brands are doing that? Not Mazda as far as i know, perhaps Mini, Fiat, Porsche, Citröen, Chevrolet, Dodge... etc etc.

best era for cars 60s,80s,90s... thats why they are trying to copy them...

MAZDA 2 non fog lamp ; 0.00000000000009-0.09 km/litre,MAZDA 2 fr/non r fog lamp ; 0.00000000000009-0.09 km/litre

Opinion =/= Fact Also i can see that you're stuck in the 80's, bij looking at you're name and the video's on you're channel, good luck finding a road legal car in 10 years.

Wow i gotta give it to Mazda for finding a way to make their cars even uglier...
