hi sanjay ur recipes r amazing v clr n understandable ....i hv a small doub't..what to do if the batter turns out to be litt' thin?can we add rice flour to the batter?n my mother in law says we can half cook the vadas,remove from flame then cook it again... it turns out to be crispy!

Thanks Sanjay !!! I made the vadai yesterday & it came out perfffffffffffectttttttttttttt tttt!! My husband said its as if i am eating in a tamilnadu hotel .. Yummy !! It never used come out good .. You told us the trick .. Thanks you .. I keep seeing your videos . also love your My Rava dosai video.. It was also very crispy & thin .... Kudos to you !!!!

Dear Vahchef, You can perhaps suggest methods found in non-Indian kitchens, too. Like using oven for biiriyani or a cake mixer to incorporate air into the vada batter.

@ahniumra, well for a start make sure to stay away from oil i f you have cold moisture in the mix...cold water and hot oil don't go well together

I made vada and it burst and i got some burns on my hand with oil spilling. I have followed this recipe before and it always went well except for this time which has slightly shaken me :). Can somebody tell me why it happened so that I can try making vada again with confidence :).
