They do dislike american cars but the last part shows their dislike this time was for good reason. the hp difference is dumb, every car makes less than the rating ( engine hp =/= whp, etc). bottomline is the gt500 is a powerful, nice looking totally unrefined car. and not in a good way...

The Camaro is faster than Mustang?? Not for for long. 2011 v6 Mustang will produce 305hp (0-60 in 6.1 sec) & 5.0 412hp (0-60 in 4.5 sec) Both will be faster than the Camaro :( Other special models will be even faster ( low 4s to high 3s)

At times I love this show but then they pull crap like this. They know full well that Ford (along with just about every car made in Europe) advertises the horsepower that is measured at the crank not at the wheels. Basically the numbers you see on tv and in brochures is what the motor by itself makes. You loose approx 12-15% hp through the trany, rear end... So 447 is pretty good. They just enjoy taking pot shots at the U.S. + the 500 prob could have made it around the track faster than it did.
