RWHP fail. And every v8 mustang since 1987 has come with a lsd. The shelby is no exception

its weird it looks a lot better in person. everytime I see one on tv or a game its like meh. but in person my god, its beautiful, especially in red.

mustang are great....I am undecide between a 2010 mustang GT PREMIUM.....or a LEXUS IS convertible......any comment?

Its 500 hp on the flywheel you tit, it loses about 25hp in the transmission etc..

Suspension and handling isn't even in the american vocabulary. It's nobody's fault. The roads are generally much wider and straighter than the ones in europe. 0-60 and HP sells cars in the states

@Teraroot Put the Lotus on a Dynojet. The Lotus would have to start out at 5000 RPM to even get the drum rollng because it ant got enough ass on the low end. Kathy Olbermann could get a nut in the amount of time it took the Lotus to hit redline.

@Teraroot The Lotus is a qwere's car. How much does it cost? Bwahahahahaha. Mustle car era is over? Ford sells how many Mustangs? Put Dr's on the Shelby and the Lotus and see how close the Lotus is. The reason we can't sell overseas is because sausage eating Europeans and fishhead and broiled cat eating Asians have unfair trade practises.

@RSprtn117 honestly probably the best defense ive heard for the muscle car. u didnt come off as an ignorant pig who really didnt know what they were talking about. my only problem with the gt500 is that they didnt change the brakes thats just dangerous suspension wasnt to big of a deal because its built for a straight line but when u can go faster it might be good if you can stop better

@Teraroot As long as there is a market for people who prefer Big V-8's pushing Big rear wheel tires manufacturers will continue to produce such a class of vehicle; and there is nothing wrong with that. When you have a american roadway system where every mile out of five is a straightway, its easy to understand why so many people have love for the muscle car, so the age of the muscle car is not over as you would say. Go ahead with the lotus, The Gto, camaro, or mustang will suit me just fine :).

@ScSSwav i would say that anything built outside of the US and brought in is an import. im not saying tho that my camaro will beat everything.

@Teraroot What are you talking about? The 2010 Camaro with the almighty IRS suspension and all the brembo brakes still cannot handle with the 2010 or even the 2011 Mustang with the 8.8 live axle. What does that tell you? IRS adds weight...weight hurts handling. So if you can save a lot of weight and sacrifice the ability to say, "It has an independent rear suspension." You will out run a car with IRS. Speaking in the Muscle Car class anyway.

ok american cars are not built to corner all that well we build most of them to go straight as fast as posible. so fuck these new little plastic shits, my camaro will eat most any import. granted we stock on stock.

p.s. dyno's tell you rwhp... 447hp to the wheels is 514hp at the crank... theres a 15% loss to the wheels in rwd cars ...soo there u go..

@Teraroot you sir.. have never drivin mustang.. anyone who has drivin a mustang knows it is special.. just the sense of drama from that car is enough.. the heritiage.. its not the car itself....its everything else about it.. a mustang is the ultimate muscle car.. and with the roush stage 3 kit on it.. it can keep up with a lotus exige.. at jezza showed in his dvd

@Clamfather24 Who cares if it does 0-60 in 2 sec, it still handles like a tank...how bout you drive both cars like i have and then talk, bet my evo VIII will destroy any of the cars you mention on the track WHICH is what counts with SPORTSCARS
