Description: Full download at: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JCQXGTV6 This video shows some of the defensive techniques that undefeated heavyweight champion Rocky Marciano used. At first sight, he looks like a very crude boxer who doesn't know what he's doing, but when taking a closer look, it becomes clear he is more skilled than he seems.

you mean the od of war like he muslims?

that's what happens when you're arrogant and look down on your opponent.

Marciano's opponents, even in his time, were so busy calling him "second rate" no one seriously analyzed his weakness.

Rocky is one of my favorite fighters, but the way he leaned forward? Truly, God was on his side all his fights how NO ONE seemed to notice that!

2:51 seriously, don't fire a right uppercut at Marciano or anything, his head's too high and it wouldn't do much damage....

It's the theme music for the great movie Das Boot (1981). I cannot post a direct link because YouTube's spamfilter deletes it, but you can find it by searching for "Das Boot - Original Movietheme (1981)". Cheers!

@RedneckkRudy , Got the Waltz... was curious about the last piece of music not listed...

@RedneckkRudy Doh, cheers dude

Thanks. At 4:19, the music titles are listed.

Excellent video mate, what music did you use?

You're not gong find many 100+ match guys in the 80's and 90's, like there was in the late 40's and 50's, no brain scans in those days. There's a difference between being old and fat and being shot.

Ummm ! Look at the age of heavy weights in the 80's and 90's .... They were old and unfit. RM was no Clay / Ali / Tyson but for a very small man he was special

joe walcott was a beast.

yup, he got over on old shot guys, so what?

It is interesting...when Marciano and Moore fought in 1955, the heavyweight champion weighed less than the light heavyweight champion.

Rocky woul have easily moved to 200 - 210 pound if he was around today.

*too*

Your comparison is somewhat apt. However, in 1950, 190 lbs was considered heavyweight. There must be a rule against allowing people to fight who are two far apart in weight.

@LiquidSmooth holmes was a master at keeping bruisers off of him though. not too many heavies are in the same league as larry when it comes to pure boxing. even with his size, throwing 1000+ punches a fight, i can see the rock overwhelming plenty of big guys.

Good point. Character does win fights too. It is still hard for me to put him in the top 10.

lose sorry

boxing changed a lot especially during the 70's Rocky would have adapted with the era he was born into, win or loose against Tyson he at least would not have raped bashed women joined Islam. Why mention Tyson? there are so many other decent boxers ahead of that jerk.

@diularsing123 modern boxer are better??? wat about sugar ray robinson joe louis muhammed ali archie moore?? im sure that those fighter will beat everybody in them cattegory. yea thats mean pacroids mayweather the klitschko david haye dawson froch calzaghe pavlik

not Only mayweather can do that. LOL OWNED!@#$^&*(

If todays middleweights Roy Jones and James Toney could make themselves into a good heavyweight, then Rocky with todays sience would easily become a solid 230 pounder. And with that,he won't lose anything.Everything to gain for him. I think Rocky would destroy Mike Tyson even worse than the way Holy did to him.
