Just kidding aside, to the best of my knowledge this car is a two owner vehicle that has really been cared for. It shows in excellent condition inside and out for it's age and brings back memories of riding down the causeway blaring your 1980's hair metal off your newly bought cassette (yes I said cassettes) in this beauty of a sports car made by a reputable Japanese automaker. This car runs like a beauty. Boasts 135 K original miles. Has the original T-ops, hood air scoops, fantastic and luxurious top-grain and suede leather interior that is literally as new and taken care as when this beauty rolled off the assembly line back in '83. The car is a 5 speed manual transmission with reverse, has a turbo boost making this baby keep up with the modern sports cars of today. Has impeccable working internals (mechanically...inside and out). The gauges work flawlessly and the stereo brings back memories of an audiophiles dreams...true stainless exterior, has volume, bass, treble, balance, and fader stereo knobs...not some clunky plastic ones, but actual metal that bring back that classic era of the late 70's/early 80's when stereos where made to last!!! To top the stereo off, it's an original issue cassette deck, that guess what, actually works!!! The car is a hatchback and one that is a nice as could be. Don't let this car cruise past the GM made Delorean back to the Awesome 80's or end up as a relic in a car museum via Vh1's Back to the 80's specials!

I have one and i would definately recomend it. i bought it to fix up with my dad for my first car. the only thing that sucks is fenders and even weather striping for ttops is expensive. i think they are surely worth it. i bought mine for 500 with amazing engine and not very much rust. mine has done over 110 and it felt like it could do more.

No I didn't forget. I know JZD's past...read his autobiography. My statement is about GM's affiliation with the Delorean DMC-12, not JZD's past with Pontiac and GM.
You also forgot that John Delorean worked for GM and was behind the creation of the GTO

i just got one it hit 110 on the freeway
haha, temperature gauge doesn't work anymore, just like on mine. doubt the clock, tape deck, or the radio, cruise control, or air conditioner did either. the lights and power windows last forever, its all the other crap that dies.
That really IS a clean car ... what did it end up selling for? ---
GM didnt make nor had anything to do with the Delorean. The only thing GM and Delorean had in common was they were sold on GM lots |
