He is almost too fast
this song was takin from the Austin City Limits dvd and what a fookin dvd it is...the man was a God
he was the fucking man !
@tubeyouviewer1984 it was a helicopter a little after 1am on aug 27 1990.....creepy to think it was anybody.If it was EC and not SRV it would still be fucked up
@mattyblues101 wasn't it in the middle of the night just after midnight when the plane crashed? I miss SRV. Creepy to think it was almost EC that could have died that day.
There is more than The Greatest guitarist ever.
He is "The Man who beat death by gaining Life".
A person with passion for music, he created every chord and note according to how he sang. still up there amongst the best, SRV RIP.
lol...wonder how does it feel to be those lonely 19 dislikin losers...
i swear to god he had fire in his hands.....just fuckin amazing....
R.I.P Stevie You still got the blues after 20 y
@o1zeidler
@EggTheBox amen bro.. amen
This is the blues at it's very best!!
Playing like that will make a person smack their mama. It's that good.
The Real Guitar Hero!
Faz 20 anos que se foi, achou que deve estar tocando assim para os anjos, era genial.
Been gone for 20 years :(, and nobody plays guitar quite like this.
@rhayes525; I live in wis and was lucky enough to see his last concert,I went to see clapton and came away a stevie ray vaughan fan for life...he blew clapton away...I woke up and cried too :(
The main solo in this song is one of the best, meanest and DIRTIEST I've ever heard from SRV. And I mean dirtiest in the BEST possible way. Just raw power and emotion. He's even yelling at the guitar while ringin' it's neck! Absolute perfection! Miss you Stevie.
This has got to be one of Stevie's finest moments!...AMAZING!!
20 years has gone so fast RIP
@mattyblues101
Amen there.
I remember hearing on the radio what happened as well.
We still miss you Stevie...

This is from Austin City Limits. There used to be a version of "Ain't Gonna Give Up On Love" from the same show here on You Tube, but it has gone missing. If anyone has it, please upload it, as it is absolutely blistering!
I just had a flashback watching this Video. It was 20 years ago, i came home, turned on the television to MTV and heard the announcement of the Helicopter crash that took this Guitar god from us. I sat there on the edge of the bed and cried like a little bitch :(
RIP
What a strat master! |
